Privacy

What we know about you: almost nothing. "We" are Jonny Reckless, trading as Reckless Technology, in California, USA.

The plugins

The plugins collect no personal data. Once a day, while a plugin’s window is open, they ask this website whether a newer version is out: one request for a small file, updates/latest.json, carrying the version you have and nothing about you or your computer. Like any web page, the request reaches GitHub Pages, which hosts this site and sees the address it came from; we see nothing of it. Untick Check automatically in the Updates submenu of any plugin’s gear menu and they stop, for every plugin on that computer. The Reckless NAM’s TONE3000 browser connects to tone3000.com when you sign in to it, under TONE3000’s own terms.

The downloads

The installers are downloaded from GitHub, which keeps its own logs under its privacy statement. We see only how many times each file was downloaded.

This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Its fonts come from Google Fonts, and it is hosted on GitHub Pages.

Email

If you write to us, we keep your message and address to answer it, and for nothing else. Ask, and we'll delete them: hello@recklesstechnology.com.
