Reckless Space
v0.21Plays any impulse response file, a cabinet, a room, a plate or up to thirty seconds of reverb, with no latency, or a space the Space Craft builds.
The Space Craft
Build a reverb from a description of a space - its size and shape, its surfaces, its decay, where you stand in it, its tone and its motion - and play it at once.

Loading a response
Click the screen to choose a file, or drop one on the window; right-click it to go back to the cathedral, use
the Space Craft, or remove the response. WAV, BWF, AIFF, FLAC, Ogg, MP3 and .wir load at any rate, mono
or stereo, 256 samples to thirty seconds. Every response plays at the same loudness.
A session or preset stores the loaded response itself, so it returns even if the file is gone. Reset to defaults brings back the cathedral.
The Space Craft
SPACE CRAFT opens a drawer that builds a space from a description. TYPE sets every knob for AMBIENCE, ROOM, CHAMBER, HALL, CATHEDRAL, ARENA, CAVE, PLATE or FANTASY, a long drifting wash; the knobs that do nothing on a plate or a fantasy are dimmed. GOOD VERBRATIONS rolls a new space of the type; right-click it to type a number back. Loading a file closes the drawer, keeping its settings.

Space Craft defaults are the Hall type's.

Tips
- A cabinet: after an amp, Mix 100 %, Predelay 0; Presence down tames a harsh one.
- A vocal plate: Plate type, Decay 1.5 to 2 s, Mix 20 %, Predelay 20 ms.
- An ambient wash: Fantasy on a send at 100 % Mix; Bloom swells it, Depth moves it.
